Construction is underway on East Pier, a new luxury condominium and apartment complex on the East Boston waterfront. Seven buildings will be built in two phases on a 13 acre site, the first phase to include 3 buildings of 5-7 stories in height and the second phase to include an additional four 5-7 story buildings. Plans are for 177 rental apartments, 373 one and two bedroom luxury condominiums, 800 parking spaces and over 65,000 sq/ft of commercial and retail space.
